Brandon Arrey has been selected for the Irish teams for the European Games in Minsk.<\/span><\/p>\n

The second European Games take place in Minsk between June 21 and 30th<\/span><\/sup>, the first time Ireland will compete in athletics.<\/span><\/p>\n

Arrey has been selected as part of the 4x400m relay team in the new DNA Athletics \u2013 Dynamic Athletics format.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022DNA is a two hour, unpredictable, \u2018winner takes it all\u2019 team-based competition.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022DNA still takes place inside a stadium, but unlike traditional athletics, DNA will only ever have one event happening at any one time.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022Mixed male and female teams with 8 women and 7 men compete over 9 events<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022There are 6 track events, 3 field events<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022Simple scoring, making it easy to follow for all, not just the current athletics specialist<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022DNA focuses on team tactics and strategy and each team has a dedicated team captain who will be heard by the fans delivering tactics.<\/span><\/p>\n
