{"id":4202,"date":"2020-08-19T16:15:09","date_gmt":"2020-08-19T16:15:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rahenyshamrock.ie\/?p=4202"},"modified":"2020-08-19T16:15:09","modified_gmt":"2020-08-19T16:15:09","slug":"club-statement-training-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rahenyshamrock.ie\/?p=4202","title":{"rendered":"Club Statement: Training Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club note the announcement by An Taoiseach Micheal Martin regarding Sport activites.<\/p>\n<p>As such Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club Covid-19 safety officer Pat Hooper has issued the following update for club training effective immediately.<\/p>\n<p>These new guidelines run from August 19 until midnight September 13<sup>th<\/sup> 2020.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The club is closed for those who have been out of the country in the last 14 days<\/li>\n<li>The club is closed for those in a period of self-isolation and\/or cocooning under the current Health Policy Rules.<\/li>\n<li>If you have any symptoms of Covid-19 do not train, self-isolate and contact your GP<\/li>\n<li>Groups are limited to 15 people (athlete\u2019s plus coach)<\/li>\n<li>The Clubhouse is closed to all members until further notice.<\/li>\n<li>There can be no physical contact whatsoever between the members of the training group.<\/li>\n<li>Please refrain entirely from spitting.<\/li>\n<li>Social distancing of 2M must be strictly observed at all times between members of the training group and the general public.<\/li>\n<li>The club Coach will organise the training venue, athlete\u2019s need to contact their coach to book their training session.<\/li>\n<li>The coach must arrange a booking with athletes before the training session. This booking and the athlete details must be confirmed to the club safety officer (Pat Hooper). Email pat.hooper @ rahenyshamrock.ie<\/li>\n<li>Athletes should arrive at the training venue entrance no more than 10 minutes prior to training time.<\/li>\n<li>Athletes should arrive in training kit and change footwear at the car or at home.<\/li>\n<li>All athletes should bring hand sanitiser, face mask and surgical gloves to training.<\/li>\n<li>Coaches must adhere to the guidelines and are currently awaiting direction regarding road racing competition from Athletics Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club remains committed to the guidance and direction of Athletics Ireland,
