Ian Conroy produced a gun to tape performance to land the 2020 Peter Doody Cup, the first road race Raheny Shamrock hosted in 2021.<\/p>\n

Conroy was in strong form posting 10 minutes and one second for victory on a balmy night in Raheny with Graham O\u2019Dwyer taking second place eight seconds behind Conroy.<\/p>\n

Third place went to Ken Nolan who posted 10 minutes 22 seconds.<\/p>\n

The Women\u2019s race was won by Zoe Quinn in 11:28 with Jenny O\u2019Sullivan second in 11:35 and Ciara Brady of Sportstworld third in 11:43.<\/p>\n

A big number of athlete\u2019s took part between the two races, honouring Peter Doody a passionate club member who was tragically killed in 2003 and since that year the club has held a memorial race in his honour.<\/p>\n
