Fay Breaks Four Minute Barrier"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brian Fay wrote himself into the history books as he became the first Raheny Shamrock athlete ever to break the four minute mile barrier.<\/p>\n<p>Fay joined the elite band of milers when he clocked 3:58.91 at the Dave Clark mile in London on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n<p>The Feidhilm Kelly coached athlete set a new personal best and club record when he finished fourth in his race, which was won by Matthew Ramsden in 3:55.78.<\/p>\n<p>For the record Darragh McElhinney was second in 3:58.20 and Jack Rowe third in 3.58.76 just ahead of Fay.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to Brian Fay on this momentous achievement as he now finds himself in the record books.<\/p>\n<p>Also to coach Feihilm Kelly who no doubt isn&#8217;t getting a
