The 2022 Battle of Clontarf 10 Mile organisers are happy to reveal the updated course for this years race.<\/p>\n

The course has been measured and marked and shows a small update as the race comes back to the roads after a three year absence. The full course is ran inside the grounds of St Anne’s Park.<\/p>\n

The race starts at 10am on Easter Monday April 18 opposite the children’s playground, facing north. The runners make a left turn onto the main avenue of St. Anne’s park turning downward and running the full length of the avenue.<\/p>\n

The race loops at the bottom of the avenue (1 Mile) and turns toward the top of the avenue. The race then moves left (2 Mile) before the final 100 metres (aprox.) of the avenue toward the dog playground before following the road onto the seafront of the park (James Larkin road) and moves toward (3 Miles) Watermill Road.<\/p>\n

The race turns left along the GAA pitches and left again along the soccer pitches to the All Saints Road entrance of the park (4 Mile). Then going past the tennis course and turning right past the GAA\/Soccer all weather pitch; then following the course back toward the main avenue, taking the bottom turn around on the avenue again (5 Mile).<\/p>\n

Then coming off the main avenue and heading right toward mount prospect park and left around the GAA pitches and left again past Clontarf GAA Grounds along mount prospect avenue to a 1\/4 loop of the rose gardens leading you back onto the main avenue (Mile 6).<\/p>\n

A second lap of mile 2 to mile 6, equates to mile 7, 8 and 9, finally coming out of the rose gardens, turning right and running straight along the main avenue into the finish.<\/p>\n
