Sophie Becker continued her great form winning the 400 metres at last night\u2019s Morton Games.<\/p>\n

Becker posted 52.69 seconds for victory in wet conditions, having always been in control of the race and seeing off KCH\u2019s Cliodhna Manning in 53.77.<\/p>\n

American Kendall Baisden took third place in 54.47 seconds.<\/p>\n

Eric Favors took second place in the shot put with a best of 19.57 metres finishing second behind Italian Olympian Nick Ponzio who threw 20.98 metres. American Andrew Liskowitz took third place in 19.49 metres.<\/p>\n

Mark Smyth clocked 10.84 seconds in his 100 metre heat to take fifth place. Just outside progressing to the final.<\/p>\n

While on the undercard, Shane Spring clocked four minutes 31.64 seconds in the men\u2019s junior mile. KCH\u2019s Cathal O\u2019Reilly won out in 4:20.67.<\/p>\n

In the Juvenile 16×100 metre relay the Raheny Shamrock team finished a very strong fifth in 4:13.50.
