Ireland Take Sixth In Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sophie Becker helped the Irish 4&#215;400 metre relay team to sixth place in the European Championships in Munich.<\/p>\n<p>The team took sixth place in 3:26.03 with the Netherlands taking gold, Poland took silver and Great Britain bronze.<\/p>\n<p>A very good performance from the Irish team, giving the expectation that Ireland will be around the 4&#215;4 relay for a couple of years with a strong panel developing.<\/p>\n<p>Sophie Becker becomes the first Raheny Shamrock athlete to race twice in the same European
