The Dublin Uneven Ages Cross Country Championships took place on Sunday November 6th in the picturesque surrounds of the Citywest Hotel & Golf Course.<\/p>\r\n

Individual medals are awarded to the first 12 across the line, and to the first three teams (these individuals and teams of 6 qualify for the National Uneven Ages Championships in Cork on December fourth.<\/p>\r\n

Starting with the boys U9, Ben Synott got Raheny off to a great start with a 4th place finish. Adam Killeen and Cian Cooney also ran brilliantly in this race.<\/p>\r\n

In the boys U11, the team of William Stoker, Conor Hanly, Cillian Ryan and Liam McAtamney packed very well for a good team result on the day.<\/p>\r\n

For the girls U13, Raheny had a strong contingent take to the line with Maggie Foley leading the girls home in ~17th followed by Ruby Cox, Ailbhe Murphy, Elena Ghidini, Saoirse McCarthy and Anabel Zheng Behan. Final team standing to be confirmed but the girls were in the mix all the way.<\/p>\r\n

Leo Synott ran a fantastic race as Raheny\u2019s lone representative in the boys U13 race.<\/p>\r\n

Next came the Boys and Girls U15 races and both were very exciting from a Raheny point of view as we had both individual and team medals in both.<\/p>\r\n

For the Girls U15, Claire O\u2019Leary and Willow Agnew, both running a year out of age, finished fifth and 11th respectively leading the team to silver medals, very narrowly missing out on gold to Lucan. The team consisted of Claire O\u2019Leary, Willow Agnew, Rachel Costello, Clara Woods, Sophie Kelly, Esther Ntoko, Freyja O\u2019Carroll, Eileen McCarthy and Rebecca O\u2019Rourke.<\/p>\r\n

In the Boys U15 Race, George Sevastopulo and Conrad Latham finished fourth and sixth respectively and the team of George, Conrad, Tom Monaghan, Leo McCarthy, Theo Duffy, and Joseph Kirwin finished 3rd. In the Girls U17 Race, we had more individual medals with Siomha Magee finishing sixth and Elena Forkan finishing 9th. Darerca O\u2019Sullivan also ran a super race finishing 21st running a year out of age.<\/p>\r\n

In the Boys U17 Race we had 2 new members don the vest for the first time. Mark Salmon placed 21st and Michael McCarthy 30th. Both very respectable debut runs.
