There was double medals collected at the national novice cross-country in Cork as the women’s team collected a very impressive silver and the men a solid bronze.<\/p>\n

Lucy Barrett was first home in 10th place followed by Aisling Ahern in 11th. Mairead Roche (39th) and Roisin Leahy (40th) gave Raheny 100 points.<\/p>\n

DCH continued their strong form taking the national title with 68 points. Raheny took silver with nine points to spare on Clonliffe Harriers.<\/p>\n

Also racing very strongly were Triona Nic Dhonaill (61st) and Laura Brennan (87th).<\/p>\n
