There was medals a plenty as Raheny Shamrock dominated the Dublin masters cross country championship and retained the Pat Hooper cup.<\/p>\n

Such is the size of the Dublin masters field the programme has now grown to four races from its original two.<\/p>\n

The first race of was the mixed event of women\u2019s over 50\u2019s and men\u2019s over 65\u2019s ran over 3Km.<\/p>\n

Annette Kealy was first past the post to taking victory and took gold in the F55 race. Trish Fitzgerald came home third overall taking second over-55 with Orla Gormley taking over-55 bronze.<\/p>\n

Brid NiChonail took F50 bronze, meaning the team of Annette Kealy (1), Trish Fitzgearld (3 and Brid NiChonaill (5) took the team F50 gold medal.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Fiona Kirwan F50 gold and Jean Dunne F50 bronze.<\/p>\n

While Bernie Kearns took silver F65 with gold to Mary Lynch F70 and June Comiskey F75, meaning that Raheny team took F65 gold.<\/p>\n

Also running were Adrienne Atkins, Siobhan McArdle, Jenny Colbert, Caroline Farrelly, Nora Byrne, Sarah O\u2019Neill, Deirdre O\u2019Dwyer, Rose McCaul and Karen Bates.<\/p>\n

Tom Loftus was a home town winner in the M65 category. The team of Loftus, Christy Reilly, Paddy McDonnell and Ciaran O\u2019Coigligh took bronze overall. Mick Martin was the non-scoring team member.<\/p>\n

The next race was the men\u2019s over-50\u2019s with Damien Martin first Raheny man home in 11th<\/sup> place. The team of Martin, Keith Fleming, Mick Kehoe and Mark McComish took fifth place.<\/p>\n

Also running were Philip McGovern, Dave O\u2019Hara, Rob Walsh, Denis Murphy, Dave Feeney, Brian Hanney, Fintan O\u2019Hanlon, Greg O\u2019Beirne and Carl Moore<\/p>\n

The women\u2019s F35 race was next up and that saw a Raheny one-two with Kate Purcell first across the line followed by Zoe Quinn.<\/p>\n

Kate Purcell took F35 gold with Carmel Ward taking F40 bronze and Zoe Quinn taking F45 gold. The team of Purcell (1), Quinn (2), Ward (9) and Mary Walsh (20) took silver with 32 points, just three behind Sportsworld.<\/p>\n

Also competing were Bernadette Bruen, Helen Carr, Karen Slye, Aileen Cooke, Sharon Keithly, Roisin Dooley, Michelle Carey, Rachel Ormrod, Denise Kelleher, Melanie Hearns, Ciara Dowdall and Michelle Donohoe.<\/p>\n

The final race on the card was the men\u2019s 35 race which saw Mick Clohisey make it two in a row as first past the post<\/p>\n

Clohisey took M35 gold and was followed home by Ian Conroy M40 gold, David Kirwan M45 gold and Ciaran McCarthy M45 silver.<\/p>\n

The team of Clohisey (1), Conroy (6), Kirwan (8) and McCarthy (10), gave Raheny the gold medal.<\/p>\n

Also competing were Ian McConkey, John Dunne, Thomas McEvoy, Bernard Roe, Sean Kelly, Rory O\u2019Sullivan, Terry Keogh, David Jackson, Eric Champ.<\/p>\n

Graham Ahearne, Davey Duane, Niall O\u2019Neill, James Cassidy, Paul Hannon, Will Walsh, Niall Power, John Clarke, Francesco Petroni, Peter Rogan, Sean Honan.<\/p>\n

John Clohisey, Kevin Morissey, Ruairi McArdle, Brian Cotter, Sean Kelly, Hugh Cronin and Nick Alexander.<\/p>\n
