On Friday, 24th<\/sup> March, a record attendance of 78 members heard the latest from across the Club.<\/p>\n

This was the first AGM held in our Clubhouse since 2017.<\/p>\n

Our President, Paddy Noonan, gave everyone a warm welcome in his opening address.<\/p>\n

The members then heard updates from the Chair, the Secretary and various contributors covering the Club\u2019s financial position, the clubhouse update, the track update, the Club Captains reports and more on the very successful year for Raheny Shamrock AC.<\/p>\n

Several motions were unanimously passed at the meeting. These included a motion to ensure our nominated Dublin Athletics Board representative is a member of the Committee, the appointment of a Director of Coaching to strengthen our athletic performance & development and a motion to establish \u201cGreen Team\u201d to review and promote environment friendly actions in all aspect of Club life.<\/p>\n

The following club officials were elected on the night for the year 2023\/24;<\/p>\n

\nChair of Facilities – Ger O\u2019Rourke

\nLadies Track & Field Captain – Helen Buckley
\nChair of Competition – Dave Hooper
\nPRO – Dave Hooper
\nDirector of Coaching – Mick Hynes
\nThe following position remains vacant for the year 2023\/24;

For those who missed the AGM, the information pack has been circulated to all members that have opted in for emails as part of annual membership. Any members that have not received the pack and wish to receive to do so, please email info@rahenyshamrock.ie<\/p>\n
