Mary Walsh landed the women\u2019s race at the Inner City half-marathon on Sunday afternoon in a very impressive 89 minutes 45 seconds.<\/p>\n
Walsh was some 53 seconds clear of second placed Sinead Cowan of the host club. Walsh finishing eighth overall.<\/p>\n
While, Brian Kelly took second overall in 83 minutes 36 seconds. Kelly was just six seconds off overall victory which went to Anthony Brady in 83:30.<\/p>\n
There were some excellent results with Carmel Ward the next Raheny athlete home in 93:28, followed by Martin Kelly 1:41:27, Dave Feeney 1:45:56.<\/p>\n
Gregory Paul O’Beirne 1:49:26, Brian Hanney 1:53:17, De O’Connor, Siobhan Mulvey 2:17:43 and John Byrne 2:38:08.<\/p>\n
The 10km race saw a great 1-2 from husband and wife team Colm Cassidy and Siobhan Eviston.<\/p>\n
Cassidy took second place in 37 minutes seven seconds with Eviston posting 38 minutes 34 seconds for third place.<\/p>\n
