Sophie Becker starred as the Irish women\u2019s 4x400m finished in eighth place in the World Championship final.<\/p>\n
The team of Becker, Roisin Harrison (Emerald A.C.), Kelly McGrory (Tir Chonaill A.C.) and Sharlene Mawdsley (Newport A.C.) clocked 3:27.08.<\/p>\n
A fantastic performance by the Irish team who were down their best athlete in Rhasidt Adeleke for this competition.<\/p>\n
A brilliant performance by Becker who has now ran in seven separate World championship races between Orgeon 2022 and Budapest 2023.<\/p>\n
A very big congratulations to the Sophie and the Irish women\u2019s team on a brilliant performance, having qualified for the final, just 0.12 seconds off the national record.<\/p>\n
