It was another very successful day for the club at the Dublin masters cross country in St Anne\u2019s Park.<\/p>\n

Eight gold, six silver and two bronze were the club\u2019s haul which included winning the Pat Hooper cup for a third year in a row.<\/p>\n

Kate Purcell won the women\u2019s over-40 gold with Brid Ni Chonail taking over-50 silver. In the over-55 race Annette Kealy took gold and Orla Gormley silver. While Jean Dunne landed over-60 bronze.<\/p>\n

There was also gold medals for Mary Lynch over-70 and June Comiskey over-75.<\/p>\n

In the men\u2019s over-45 John Dunne led home a Raheny 1-2-3 with David Kirwin and Ronan Wogan taking silver and bronze.<\/p>\n

Ciaran McCarthy won the over-50 gold medal and Tom Loftus the over-65 bronze. While Patrick McDonnell the over-70 silver.<\/p>\n

In the team races, the over-35 men\u2019s team of John Dunne, David Kirwin, Ronan Wogan and Aidan Jones took silver.<\/p>\n

While, there was gold for the over-50 team of Ciaran McCarthy, Brian Kelly, Dave Woods and Niall Power. The M65 team were just three points off the medals finishing in fourth place.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the women\u2019s F35 team of Kate Purcell, Fiona Roche, Carmel Ward and Sharon Keilthy took gold some 14 points clear of Sportsworld.<\/p>\n

And F50 team of Annette Kealy, Brid Ni Chonail and Orla Gormley round out the day with gold.<\/p>\n

With all the scores added up it was victory for Raheny Shamrock in the overall competition and the Pat Hooper Cup remains in Raheny for another 12 months.<\/p>\n

Proudly wearing the club colours today were, Clare Fox, Michelle Roest, Caitriona Costello, Roisin Dooley, Aoife Nagle, Aileen Cooke, Melanie Hearns, Orla McElhinney and Katherine Lorigan.<\/p>\n
