{"id":8137,"date":"2024-03-10T22:05:26","date_gmt":"2024-03-10T22:05:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rahenyshamrock.ie\/?p=8137"},"modified":"2024-03-10T22:05:26","modified_gmt":"2024-03-10T22:05:26","slug":"niamh-fogarty-sets-new-club-record","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rahenyshamrock.ie\/?p=8137","title":{"rendered":"Niamh Fogarty Sets New Club Record"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Niamh Fogarty set a new discus club record when competing for Ireland at the European Throwing Cup in Leiria, Portugal today.<\/p>\n<p>Fogarty finished fourth in the B final with a best effort of 55 metres 17cm, bettering her previous record of 53.95 which was set in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Fogarty had thrown 52.82, 51.06 and 52.70 on attempts one, two and four. Fogarty passed on attempts three and five before setting a huge new personal best.<\/p>\n<p>The final was won by Helena Leveelathi of Finland with a best of 55:34.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to Niamh on
