{"id":8216,"date":"2024-03-30T17:11:06","date_gmt":"2024-03-30T17:11:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rahenyshamrock.ie\/?p=8216"},"modified":"2024-03-30T17:11:53","modified_gmt":"2024-03-30T17:11:53","slug":"easter-quiz-night-a-roaring-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rahenyshamrock.ie\/?p=8216","title":{"rendered":"Easter Quiz Night A Roaring Success"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Holy Thursday is Quiz Night for Raheny Shamrock AC and the 2024 Quiz was a huge success.<\/p>\n<p>The defending champions returned with plans to retain their title but they had to beat a tough Quizmaster and a competitive crowd; 2024 being a maiden RSAC Quiz night for many.<\/p>\n<p>Quiz compere, Blaithin Sheil, skipped through 10 rounds with 6 questions in each; breaking to hold raffles, throw in bonus questions, hand out spot prizes and enjoy the atmosphere, helped hugely by Stephen Brady as the Music Master.<\/p>\n<p>The winners emerged early and were indeed the defending champions, with the battle then for second and third places and every table working to get on the scoreboard. The final tally played out as follows:<\/p>\n<p>1st Place \u2013 \u201cFollow the Run-bow\u201d \u2013 Brian Cotter, Adrienne Atkins, Brendan Atkins &amp; Brian McWeeney.<\/p>\n<p>2nd Place \u2013 \u201c50 Shades of Trained\u201d \u2013 Andy Kelly, Ciaran Doherty, Will Walsh, Dave Woods (Sean Honan &amp; Eoghan Wrafter)<\/p>\n<p>3rd Place \u2013 \u201cBaby got Track \u2013 Helen Carr, Maura Lynskey, Denise Kelleher &amp; Keith Moynes<\/p>\n<p>Many Thanks to all who helped to make the annual Quiz a very enjoyable night.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to the generosity of local Raheny Businesses and
