Simon Ryan clocked 73 minutes five seconds for seventh place at the Waterford Half marathon on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n

The race was won by Sergiu Ciobanu who clocked 65 minutes 51 seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Davey Duane was the next Raheny athlete home in 81 minutes and 29 seconds with Gabriel Byrne clocking 95 minutes 25 seconds and John Freir posting 95 minutes 47 seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vinny Clohisey posted 96 minutes 20 seconds with Gary Kenny clocking one hour 47 minutes 24 seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Elsewhere the final Dublin league cross country was held in Tymon Park on Sunday morning.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rachel Costello, Cara and Chloe Griffen took part in the under 9 girl\u2019s 600 metres. Senan Fitzgerald and Gavin Costello ran in the boy\u2019s equivalent while Isabel Fitzgerald took part in the under 11 race.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also belated congratulations to Ailish Murtagh who was part of the bronze winning Leinster team at the National under 18 cross country in Abbotstown last weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n
