It\u2019s that time of year again.<\/p>\n

The Last Sunday before Christmas and the Annual Joe Noonan Memorial race in honour of our former Club President and father of our current President PJ Noonan.<\/p>\n

A fun and festive event exclusive to club members and limited to the first 100 entrants.<\/p>\n

Don’t be disappointed, get that entry in quickly!<\/p>\n

The Event<\/strong> – Five Mile Road Race (2 laps) – Starts at Manor House – Finish Taxi Rank<\/p>\n

The Time<\/strong> – 10am start<\/p>\n

Prizes<\/strong> – 1st three Individuals (male & female) – 1st 10 Teams of four.<\/p>\n

The Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n

Entrance Fee of \u20ac5<\/strong> with complete fee being passed on to GOAL by the club.<\/p>\n

Entrants lodge \u20ac5 to the club account IE56BOFI90065810800597 online and text confirmation of lodgement to Dick Hooper at 087-2271940.<\/p>\n

From all entrants teams of four will be drawn from bowls as follows;<\/p>\n

Age Range 15 – 35, Age range 36 -50, Age Range 51 -65, Age Range 65+.<\/p>\n

Teams will be made up of two males and two females (subject to entries) .<\/p>\n

Number collection at the clubhouse from 9am on Race morning.<\/p>\n

Post-race – Adjourn to Clubhouse for a reception with a Christmas feel afterwards with an open invitation to all competitors, supporters and club members afterwards.<\/p>\n

Hot sausage rolls, mince pies, Teas and Coffees in plenty.<\/p>\n

Green Sunday<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the day of the race we encourage members to bring along your keep cups\/reusable cups for the post-race party as a statement of your support for the green sustainability agenda within the club and our commitment to reduce waste within Raheny Shamrock.<\/p>\n
