Fogarty who took seventh place in the shot put with a personal best of 14.29 metres.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, Fogarty took fifth place in her peffered event the discus with a best throw of 52.20 metres.<\/p>\n<p>On the track, Michael Farrelly was part of the 4x100m relay team who broke the national record for the second time in a week.<\/p>\n<p>Farrelly helped the team to second place in 39.88 seconds taking .04 seconds off the record set last week.<\/p>\n<p>While, Brian Fay produced a brilliant second place in the men\u2019s 5,000m. Fay posting 13.56.07. Isaac Kimeli of Belgium winning out by just fourth tenths of a second.<\/p>\n<p>Fay\u2019s second place performance was only bettered on the track by an Irish team member, by Sarah Lavin who won the 100m hurdles.<\/p>\n<p>Eric Favors took fifth place in the Men\u2019s Shot Put, with a best of 19.42 meters.<\/p>\n<p>Ireland ultimately finished in fifth place on 349 points behind champions Belgium (451.5), Slovenia (402.5), Norway (400) and T\u00fcrkiye (382).<\/p>\n<a class=\"synved-social-button synved-social-button-share synved-social-size-16 synved-social-resolution-single
