{"id":9421,"date":"2025-07-12T22:05:17","date_gmt":"2025-07-12T21:05:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rahenyshamrock.ie\/?p=9421"},"modified":"2025-07-12T22:05:17","modified_gmt":"2025-07-12T21:05:17","slug":"favors-second-at-morton-games","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rahenyshamrock.ie\/?p=9421","title":{"rendered":"Favors Second At Morton Games"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eirc Favors took second place in the shot put at Friday night\u2019s Morton Games.<\/p>\n<p>Favors sixth attempt of 19.75 metres was his best of the competition and saw him take second place behind New Zealand\u2019s Nick Palmer who won out with a best of 20.20m.<\/p>\n<p>While Poland\u2019s Szymon Mazur took third place with a best of 19.32m.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Niamh Fogarty took seventh place in the discus in 56.21 metres, which was Niamh\u2019s sixth attempt. This event was won by Germany\u2019s Antonia Kinzel with a best of 58.78m.<\/p>\n<p>On the track, Brian Fay took seventh place in the men\u2019s mile in 3:39.07 a race won by Andrew Coscoran in 3:37.06.<\/p>\n<p>While, Michael Farrelly posted 10.50 seconds for eigthth place in heat two of the 100 metres.<\/p>\n<p>There was also some great performances by a number of our juvenile teams in the meet\u2019s pre-card juvenile relays. Very well done to all the Raheny athlete\u2019s competing on a big night of international athletics in Dublin.<\/p>\n<a class=\"synved-social-button synved-social-button-share synved-social-size-16
