Smyth on B way to Euro’s
Mark Smyth has secured the B qualification standard for next summer’s European under 20 Championships. Smyth posted 21.74 seconds over 200 metres, finishing third in the national track and field league final in Tullamore last August. Athletics Ireland and European athletics announced the standards during the week for the European under 20 championships which will be held in Grosseto Italy, July 20 to 23rd.
