The track season got off to a roaring success for our juvenile athletes. Over the course of 3 days nearly 200 athletes competed across track and field.We had first time competitors, loads of PBs and more silverware on its way home to the Parish. The 2024-25 Winter league continues this Wednesday January 29th. The 10 race league series continues over three miles road race on January 29th. N.B. Michael Farrelly set a new club 60 metre indoor record last Sunday in Abbotstown. Farrelly posted 6.77 seconds to break Mark Smyth’s two year old club record of 6.80 seconds. Farrelly posted the time when finishing third at in the guest race at the National indoor arena on Sunday January 19th. Bori Akinola won out in 6.68 seconds with Gabriel Kehinde second in 6.76.
