Purdue-Smyth Takes Murphy 5 Mile

Mary Purdue-Smyth landed the Michael Murphy 5 Mile Memorial Race on Thursday evening.

Purdue-Smyth clocked 38 minutes 27 seconds in the sealed handicap race held as part of the Clonliffe Grand Prix series.

The time saw Purdue-Smyth lift the cup ahed of Clonliffe members Melissa Curran and Liam Hennessy.

Jim Keogh was first Raheny athlete over the line in 35 minutes 46 seconds with Connor Jennings clocking 37 minutes seven seconds and Dave Brady posting 41 minutes 57 seconds.

Always nice to see Raheny name’s on Clonliffe’s podium!

While at the Clonee 10K road race, Angela Charlton posted 51 minutes and Chris Troy clocked 63 minutes 23 seconds.
