Ian Conroy finished 46th at the World Mountain running championships in Bulgaria. Ian ran 1:10:53 for the 12.5km course. At the Great North run Mary Coghlan ran 1:50:18 while Mary Purdue Smyth ran 1:53:32 and Nicola Mooney ran 1:54:05.
Simon Devenney won the St Annes parkrun in 17:00 while Catriona Costello was first female in 20:24. Carl Conroy was winner in Father Collins in 17:04 with Alan Foley second in 18:45 and Witek Lochowski fourth in 19:32. Dave Gargan was second in Donabate in 19:10. Niall Power was third in Ardgillan in 20:17. Damien Martin was second in Bushy Park parkrun in 17:09 while Nora Byrne ran 22:59.
