Kieran Kelly won the Beragh Five mile in Co. Tyrone on Saturday posting 25 minutes 31 seconds. Kelly was some 32 seconds clear of second placed Eoin Mullan who posted 26:59. A wet and cold night in March saw wins for the returning Eoin O’Dwyer and a fast win from Chloe Griffin. Two rounds remain in the Winter League. One mile on the track in the club championship on April 13 and the Raheny Open Mile on April 24th.
Round Nine of the Winter League takes place this Wednesday night March 27 over one mile. This race is the first of the series over one mile.
