Round Two of the 2023-24 Winter League takes place this Wednesday night December 13 over two miles. There are a further 10 races remaining in the series, with round three taking place on January fourth. League positions will be assigned once an athlete completes two races in the series. All club members are invited to our Christmas party on Thursday December 21st. On the night there will be a DJ, raffle and food. Entry is free to all members. Brian Fay took 22nd place at the European Cross Country Championship in Brussels. Another very muddy competition where Cormac Dalton was first Irish man home in eighth place. The Irish men’s team took eighth place overall. A very big congratulations to the Irish men’s junior team who took home gold, led home by bronze medalist Nick Criggs. Congratulations to the Irish team on today’s performance.
There is now just seven weeks to the 40th AXA Raheny 5 which takes place on Sunday January 28th 2024 at 3pm. We require 100 plus marshals to ensure this race runs smoothly.
