Fogarty, Smyth and Favors Get European Games Call
Niamh Fogarty, Mark Smyth and Eric Favors have al been selected for the European Games in Krakow, Poland from June 20 to 26th. The European Team championships is part of the European Games for the first time with three Raheny Shamrock athletes selected as part of Team Ireland. Niamh Fogarty will take part in the women’s discus, Mark Smyth will compete in the 200 meters and the men’s 4x100m relay….

Good Performances At UCD-IMC Track Meet
Michael Farrelly posted a new personal best of 10.65 seconds when finishing second in the A 100 metres at the UCD-IMC meet on Saturday. Farrelly took second place behind Bori Akinola of UCD in 10.38 seconds. Elsewhere, Oisin McCorry posted 21.22 in the 400m A race. In the 800m A race Cillian Kirwan posted 1:50.44.
