St Anne’s Park are hosting a number of concerts in June and Raheny Shamrock AC will again play our part in the Community by stewarding at the events. Wes O’Brien took seventh place at the Great Limerick marathon on Sunday posting 2:39.51. The race was won by Tudor Micrea in 2:25.16. At the Drogheda 10k Stephen Butler was first home in 34:33, followed by Graham Ahearne 35:52, Kate Purcell 36:15, Garreth Hogan 39:03, Niall Buckley 43:41, Petra Cronin 63:25.
The Dublin boards graded meetings made a big return this afternoon, making a debut at the new UCD track. Lucy Barrett took second place in the 3000 metres posting 9:58.35, just behind Moy Valley’s Clodagh Gill in 9:50.12.
