Kelly Second In Carlingford

Kieran Kelly took second place in the Carlingford 5K on Friday night. Kelly posted 14 minutes 47 seconds behind second placed Ben Branagh from St Malachy’s who clocked 14.23. Wingfield Makes Commonwealth Games Semi-Final

Charlotte Wingfield has qualified for the 200 metres semi-finals of the commonwealth games. Wingfield competing for Malta posted 24.47 seconds to take fourth place in heat six this morning and qualify as the fastest non-automatic qualifier. The race had been won by Natassha McDondald of Canada in 23.45 seconds. The semi-finals are set for Friday’s evening session.
