Lord Mayor Series Round Five Tomorrow Night

Round five of the 2022 Lord Mayor of Raheny Two Mile series continues this Tuesday July fifth at 8pm. Entry is open online for the race at €7 or €50 for the remaining nine races and the Jim Wall Handicap at the end of the series. Becker Wins Morton Games 400m

Sophie Becker continued her great form winning the 400 metres at last night’s Morton Games. Becker posted 52.69 seconds for victory in wet conditions, having always been in control of the race and seeing off KCH’s Cliodhna Manning in 53.77. Quinn Takes World Masters Bronze

Zoe Quinn took world masters W45 5,000m bronze in Tampere, Finland today. Quinn posted 18:25.28 for bronze behind Spain’s Maria Jose De Toro Saiz who clocked 18:10.60 for silver. Finland’s Laura Mannien took gold in 17:10.14. On Saturday David Kirwin took fourth place in the M45 5,000m in 16:21.89.
