Covid-19 Update – Potential Club Re-opening

Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club welcomes the announcement by Athletics Ireland that athletics clubs can re-open activities from May 18 2020. We thank Athletics Ireland CEO Hamish Adams and his team for working with Sport Ireland and government to allow this development to occur. Michael Delaney RIP

It is with great sadness that Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club announces the death of our friend and member Michael Delaney. Michael died yesterday May fourth after a long illness very bravely fought. Michael was a latecomer to the sport. He soon made up lost ground and turned out to be a formidable Marathon runner. In 2017 he won his category in the Dublin City Marathon.
