Dublin Juvenile League Dates

The Dublin juvenile cross-country league begins on September 16th in Newbridge House and Demense. The league consists of three races for ages from under 9(born 2010) to under-20 and is a great introduction to cross country or preparation for Dublin Championships in November. All athletes who finish receive 10 points and those in the top 20 score additional points. The first of these races takes place on Sunday 16th September…

World Masters Silver For Kealy

Annette Kealy landed World Masters silver in the 10 kilometre road race in Malaga. Kealy posted 38 minutes 34 second for silver, just 30 seconds behind Great Britain’s Kathryn Bailey who clocked 38 minutes four seconds. Kealy had some 48 seconds to spare on bronze medalist Carmel Crowley who clocked 39 minutes 22 seconds. Big congratulations to Annette for everyone in Raheny Shamrock.

Dooney Second in Mondello

Kevin Dooney took second place in the Mondello Park 10k, which doubled as the 2018 Kia Race Series Final. Dooney making a comeback after injury posted 30 minutes 29 seconds for second, DSD’s Hiko Tonosa won out by just 13 seconds in 30:16. Mick Clohisey took third place in 30 minutes 37 seconds.
