Celebrate Orla Comerford’s Medals

To celebrate Orla Comerford’s success at the Para-World Athletics European Championships, the club will host an evening open to all members. This social evening is open to all members and takes place on Wednesday August 29th in Raheny GAA club at 8.30. All are welcome to help celebrate in what was a brilliant achievement.

Quinlan Cup Fifth for Leahy

Brian Leahy took fifth place in the Quinlan Cup in Tullamore in 72 minutes 35 seconds. Clonliffe’s David Flynn followed up his national half-marathon win, adding the Quinlan Cup which doubles as the Leinster half-marathon in 68:44. Eamonn Dunne won the Ardgillan in 18:40, while Dermot J Gorman won out in Tramore in 16:56. John Dunne took third place in Porterstown in 17:48. 100m Euro-Para Bronze For Comerford

Orla Comerford has won her second bronze medal of the World Para Athletics European Championships in the T13 100m final. Comerford had just one hundredth of a second on German Janne Sophie Engeleiter for bronze, finishing in 12.82 seconds.
