Clohisey wins in Enniscorthy

Mick Clohisey was a comfortable winner of the Enniscorthy 10K winning out in 29 minutes 59 seconds. Balbriggan’s Lithuanian international Valdas Dopolskas to second place some 36 seconds behind Clohisey. The Raheny men’s team finished in second place with Simon Ryan clocking 33:40 and Donal Foley posting 34:28. DSD won the team race. Other finishers in Enniscorthy were Dermot Gorman 34:58, Vinny Clohisey 45:15 and Dave Brady 53:59.

Bermingham Vaults to Bronze

Conor Bermingham vaulted to bronze at the new National Indoor Arena during the Irish Life Health National Indoor Arena. Bermingham’s best of four metres 30 secured bronze behind West Waterford’s Thomas Houlihan who vaulted to four metres 55 and a best from Peter Glass to vaulted to 4.45. Dooney back in the Green

Kevin Dooney helped to bronze at the Armagh International Road Race on Thursday night. Dooney clocked 14 minutes 24 seconds to finish in 21st place overall and combined with Shane Quinn and Matthew Bergin to help Ireland to bronze medals in the team race.
