Silver Lining for Golden Kealy

Annette Kealy landed women’s over 50 gold in the national masters cross country championships in Clanbridge Co.Galway. Kealy finished 15th overall and led the W50 team to the silver medals. Kealy combined with Orla Gomerly (58th), Adrienne Atkins (104th) and Bernie Manley (163rd) to total 340 points. Bermingham vaults to University Silver

Conor Bermingham picked up Pole Vault university silver at the IUAA indoor championships in AIT on Friday. Bermingham representing Trinity College vaulted to a best of 4.10 metres and was only beaten on count back by DCU’s Shane Power. Dooney Brings Shamrock’s to Ninth in Europe

Kevin Dooney led Raheny Shamrock home at this morning’s European Champions Club Cup as the men’s team finish ninth. Dooney came home in 17th place as the first Raheny athlete over the line, some 47 seconds off third place finisher Ramazan Ozdemir of Istanbul BBSK.
