Michael Farrelly equalled Mark Smyth’s 100m club record at the first Dublin graded meet of the season. Farrelly clocked 10.40 seconds to finish second in round two of the 100m races. Niamh Fogarty broken the long-standing Irish senior record in the Women’s Discus record on Sunday. Fogarty threw a best of 58.40 metres at the OK Throws Series meeting in the USA to break Patricia Walsh’s 41-year-old national record.
