Kevin Dooney took second place in the Enniscorthy 10k making an impression on his return to racing posting 33 minutes four seconds. Evan Fitzpatrick of West Waterford won out in 31 minutes eight seconds. Dooney was four seconds clear of a former Shamrock, Carrick-on-Suir’s Dermot Gorman. Round three of the Winter road race league was due to take place January eighth. However, due to bad weather this round was postponed. Following consultation with a number of competitors, round three will now take place on Wednesday March 26 at 8pm.
