At the Autumn Open Cross country Kate Purcell took second place in the women’s master’s race behind Fiona Gettings of Longford. Also racing were Zoe Quinn fifth F45 and Orla Gormley fourth F60. A brilliant start to the cross country season in the phoenix park today as Kate Crowley and Anthony O’Brien took silver medals and there was gold for the men’s team. Kate Crowley took silver in the women’s race just behind Crusaders Doireann Hughes. Crowley led the team to fifth place.
