Niamh McCorry took the national junior shot put title in Tullamore with a great throw of 10.57m. Becker Makes World Top 30 Finish

Sophie Becker bowed out of the World championships finishing as the 26th best 400 metre runner in the World. Becker ran a brave race in heat three to clock 52.24 seconds to finish fifth.
