It is with great sadness that Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club announces the death of our friend and member Michael Delaney. Michael died yesterday May fourth after a long illness very bravely fought. Michael was a latecomer to the sport. He soon made up lost ground and turned out to be a formidable Marathon runner. In 2017 he won his category in the Dublin City Marathon. Round One of Raheny Shamrock Lockdown League 2020 took place over the May Bank Holiday weekend. The race was a lung busting one mile (all ran in accordance with all government guidelines).
