Women’s Dublin Silver Lining
The Raheny Shamrock senior women’s team took Dublin senior silver and were just four points off the gold medal. Kate Cronin returned to the country in excellent fashion to take fifth place in real cross country conditions in Santry, just 44 seconds off gold medallist Metro’s Catherina Mullen. Mick Clohisey took the national silver medal when finishing sixth at this year Dublin Marathon. Clohisey clocked 2:13.18 after a fast finishing Stephen Scullion ran an excellent five kilometres to take second place overall and national gold in 2:12.01.
