Kevin Dooney became the 11th Raheny Shamrock athlete to compete at the World Cross Country championship on Saturday. Dooney finished 105th in the ultra-competitive World Cross Country on an un-forgiving course in Aahrus, Denmark. Sean Tobin was the other Irish athlete competing who finished 62nd.
Annette Kealy landed the World Masters W50 Cross country title in Torun Poland on Monday. Kealy finished second overall in the race, behind Great Britain’s Clare Elms, Elms was racing in the W55 category.
