Winter League Rd 8 – Postponed

This evening’s eighth round of the winter road race league has been postponed due to weather conditions in Dublin. The race has been rescheduled for Wednesday March seventh at 8pm. Please note that a number of training sessions have been cancelled across the club also due to the red alert weather warning. Clohisey makes Berlin Grade

Mick Clohisey set a new personal best as he confirmed his place on the Irish team for Berlin 2018. Clohisey clocked two hours 14 minutes and 14 minutes and 49 seconds for 12th place overall. The time is well inside the Athletics Ireland standard of 2:17.00 for the European Championships in Berlin. Kieran Kelly landed his second national title as he powered to 1500 metre victory at the Irish Life Health National Indoor championship.
