Laura Fallon won the Leinster junior pole vault title in a new championship best of 2.40 metres in Tullamore. Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club are saddened to learn of the passing of Mrs. Noreen Doody, mother of the late Peter Doody. Mrs. Doody passed away on Monday June 11th in Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan Mrs. Doody’s funeral takes place on Thursday June 14th at 11am in the Church of the Asumption of our Lady, Yellow Furze, Beauparc, followed by burial in Dardistown Crematorium Full details available here.

Conor Dooney took second place in the Flanders Cup 3,000 metres in Belgium on Saturday. Dooney posted eight minutes 20.25 seconds for second place behind Belgian Simon Debognies who clocked eight minutes eight point seven seconds.
