For the second year running Conor Dooney was the winner of the Grant Thornton 5k. Conor won in a time of 14:49. Ian Conroy booked his place at the World mountain championships in Wales by winning a trial race earlier today. Brian Leahy was third in the Tullamore half marathon today. Brian finished in a time of 1:13:11 while Connor Jennings ran 1:46:46 and Tom O’Sullivan ran 2:06:51. Annette Kealy was third woman in Tinryland 4 mile in 24:01 while Eoin Brady ran 22:12. Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club Autumn Races, Runs & Social will be held on September 10th at 6pm in Morton Stadium. The programme is as follows; 6.00: 400m Hurdles Time Trial or Race 6.10: 100m Women Heats 6.20: 100m Men Heats 6.30: 1500m Trial & Fun Run 6.40: 800m Men 6.45: 100m Women Final 6.50: 100m Men Final Check in 10 mins before each race.
