Eoin Strutt secured a notable victory in the prestigious Cork City Sports on Wednesday evening. Strutt landed the 3,000 metre Open Men Leisureworld title in eight minutes 39.10 seconds just ahead of home towners Youghal’s Fergal Curtin (8:40.64) and Chris Mintern of Leevale.
