AXA Insurance and Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club are delighted to welcome you to the 2026 AXA Raheny 5.
It is our great pleasure to welcome you back to Raheny for what we hope will be another great day.
We are delighted to welcome you back and we ask you to please help us by following these instructions before and during race day.
Entries
Entries for the 2026 AXA Raheny 5 are now sold out. There are no late entries available.
Number Collection
For patron’s advised to collect you’re number, there are two options.
On Saturday you can collect your numbers from the Raheny Shamrock Clubhouse, old church Raheny village, D05T8N8 between 10:30am and 4pm.
Registration for the five Juvenile races will also be accepted on Saturday. Entry fee is €5 each.
On Race Day
You can collect numbers for the AXA Raheny 5 in the race HQ, Scoil Aine national School between 11am and 2pm on race.
Juvenile race entries will also be taken in the Race HQ Scoil Aine National School.
Getting to Raheny
A big crowd is expected in Raheny, with limited parking available. We highly recommend the use of public transport with Raheny served by;
Dublin Bus routes H1, H2 and H3.
On the Dart, Raheny is located Northbound on the Howth/Malahide line from Dublin City Centre.
There is limited parking available in Raheny at the Church and St. Anne’s Tennis Club with limited public parking also available in Raheny Village. A map is available here.

A Bag Drop is available at Scoil Aine
Portaloo’s will also be available at the start/finish area.
Juvenile Races
There are five juvenile races on the day, which are listed below. Entries for these races are taken at the RACE HQ, Scoil Aine, Raheny.
Entry fee is €5 and entries open on Sunday at 11am
1:30pm – Girls 5 – 7 years old – 400 Metres
1:40m – Boys 5 – 7 years old – 400 Metres
1:50pm – Girls 8 – 12 years old – 800 Metres
2pm – Boys 8 – 12 years old – 800 Metres
2:15pm – Boys & Girls 13 – 16 years old – 1 Mile
All Participants receive a medal with prizes for the top three in each race
RACE Time
Please follow the instructions of the stewards and Gardai at all time. There are seven races on the card which are;
The Start/Finish area is the same for all races at All Saints Park
1:30pm – Girls 5 – 7 years old – 400 Metres
1:40m – Boys 5 – 7 years old – 400 Metres
1:50pm – Girls 8 – 12 years old – 800 Metres
2pm – Boys 8 – 12 years old – 800 Metres
2:15pm – Boys & Girls 13 – 16 years old – 1 Mile
2:55pm – AXA Raheny 5 Wheelchair race
3pm – 2026 AXA Raheny 5 & Walkers START
After you have completed the race please follow the steward’s instructions, slowly and carefully moving through the finish area where you will collect you’re goodie bag including the AXA Raheny 5 plaque.
Prize Presentation
A quick medal presentation will take place for the top three men and women will take place at this years event. The top three men and women will be presented with their prizes shortly after the finish close to the finish line
The prize presentation for all other prizes will take place in Scoil Aine School hall from 4:30pm aprox.
Prizes are available for the top 10 men and women. The Top three runners in all age categories and the top three men’s and women’s teams and top three men’s and women’s masters teams
N.B. Prize winners must be present at the prize presentation to receive their prize. The organisers will not be posting out prizes.

If you are a supporter, there are a number of spectator spots on the course where you will be able to see the race pass.
