Dublin Juvenile Championship Day 2 & 3

Sean Flynn made the breakthrough in the 3,000 metres finishing a close second after a photo finish. Sean’s hard work paid off after a string of fourth place finishes over the years.

Caoimhe Flynn double up for silver in the 800 metres and third in the 400 metres. Caoimhe always works hard at training and is now getting the success she deserves.

A role model on and off the track giving advice and encouragement to others. Caoimhe still has the 1500 metres and relays to take part in.

Sarah Tate, is a big personality at training whose potential is unlimited. Sarah finished second in the 400 metres with confidence gained, Sarah will become one of the stars of the future for the club.

Kate Flanagan Walsh, the old lady of our group won the under 19 100 metres just ahead of Lucy Kerrigan in the silver position.

There was silver for Sean L’ Estrange in the under 16 200 metres while Kim O Hare took under 19 triple Jump gold and 200m bronze.

Daniel Beveridge took under 18 shot and discus gold. Matt Cotter landed under 19 long jump gold in a new personal best then added triple jump silver. Bill Oshafi took long jump silver and triple jump bronze.

Also competing well were Maia Moore, Triona nic Domhnail, Caelinn ni Brion, Eabha nic Coitir, Caoimhe Boylan, Emma Harrision, Aishling Carrol and Jamie Sheridan, Scott Atkins and Edan Hurley.
