Graham O’Dwyer blasted to victory in the round 11 of the Lord Mayor Series in a swift 10 minutes 37 seconds.
It was another excellent performance from O’Dwyer after posting 79:40 at the national half marathon on Sunday morning.
Junior Sean Barrett took second place in a fighting 10:54 with Michael McGloin taking third place three seconds later in 10:57.
The women’s race was just as competitive with Civil Service’s Ashley Ryan wining out and taking sixth place overall in 11:12, six seconds clear of Niamh Corry.
Dublin Bay Runners Zoey Quinn took third place in 11:35 taking eighth place overall. The first time in the 18 year history of the Lord Mayor series were three women have placed in the top 10.
