The National Indoor Masters Championship took place on Sunday. Writing about a successful Championship for the club is Masters Captain Brian McWeeney:
“Representing Raheny Shamrocks were the following were Niall Power 400 and 800 meters Andy Kelly 800 meters Paul Curtayne 800 meters and Shot put and Annette Kealy 3000 meters.
Annette Kealy won the ladies 3000m O/55 Gold Medal in 11.00 mins
In the men’s 800 meters, Andy Kelly O/45 finished in 8th place with a time of 2:18 seconds (PB). Niall Power O/50 finished in 6th place with a time of 2:17 (PB). Paul Curtayne O/55 finished in 5th place with a time of 2:46.
In the men’s shot put O/55 Paul Curtayne finished 7th with a throw of 8.03m.
