Raheny Shamrock men’s and women’s teams both finished sixth after the second round of the national indoor league.
The women’s team finished third in round two with a total of 21 points.
Siobhan Eviston scored maximum points winning the 1500 metres in four minutes 38.24 seconds while Aisling Drumgoole was second in the 200 metres in 25.64 seconds.
Aisling Carroll took second place in the triple jump with a best of 8.51 metres, while Caelinn Ni Bhrion finished seventh in the 400 metres in 65.61 seconds.
The score of 21 points added to the first round score of 16 points see’s the club finish sixth overall.
The men’s team finished sixth in round two, held in Athlone IT, having failed to field an athlete in the 1500m and the high jump.
Jamie Sheridan took third place in the 400 metres in 53.38 seconds while Phil O’Gorman posted 25.77 second for fifth in the 200 metres. Fionn McGrane took fifth place in the triple jump with a best of 11.41 metres.
Also in AIT, Blathin Sheil posted 4.57.95 in the guest 1500 metres
While at the NIA Live event on Thursday January 25, Sean Estrange posted 7.07 seconds to win the 60 metres.
Dylan Kirwan posted 24.42 and Liam Sheehan 24.46 seconds for 400m. Hannah Byrne clocked 27.62 for 200 metres.
